KENNETH B. SMITH March 2, 1928 - May 30, 2012 This year marks the 4th anniversary of the passing of Kenneth Smith. He was a pillar of strength from beginning to end, conquering obstacles throughout his life. However, none of these obstacles presented as big a challenge as the final one, that being Alzheimer Disease. Following a long and courageous battle he quietly succumbed to the disease on May 30. It is not the disease but the strength our grandpa demonstrated that remains present in our thoughts. Awareness of Alzheimer's is important but on this day let's take the time to remember our grandpa. Let's remember him for the humorous, hardworking and loveable man he was. Let's remember him for the deeds he did for others, the witty jokes he could liven your day with and for his bottomless pockets of random objects. This day belongs to him, not to Alzheimer's. Missing you always, love your grandchildren Jordon and Taylor.
