Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICOLA CLEMENTE October 29, 1939 - May 28, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nicola (Pops, Nonno) Clemente, on May 28, 2016. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Grazia; son Tony (Eva); daughter Lori (Donald); and grandchildren, Maria, Angela, Grace and Dante. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy, as well as his many friends in Canada. Pops loved working in his garden, making his own wine, and Grazia's wonderful cooking. But most of all, he loved his family. His wife Grazia was his constant companion, biggest support, his dance partner and the love of his life. He had a special bond with both of his children and loved them dearly. His grandchildren were the apple of his eye and he loved nothing more than having them together around the dinner table. The family would like to thank the staff on the 6th floor of St. Boniface Hospital and Dr. Eschun, for their kindness, compassion, wonderful care and generosity of spirit. The funeral will be held at Holy Rosary Church on Wednesday, June 1, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m., interment at Green Acres Cemetery immediately following. It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Nicola, he was a true Friend of my fathers. They both enjoyed and shared the passion of gardening together. They took pride in planting the many fruit trees and vegetables seeds that they exchanged yearly. They both enjoyed their visits and friendship over a glass of wine.
