ROBERT MARTIN ANDERSON On Monday, June 6, 2016, Robert "Bob" Anderson passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Betty, daughter Elizabeth, and brothers Art and Glen. Left to cherish Bob's memory are his wife of 43 years, Arlene (nee Peck) of MacGregor, MB; daughters Sandra (Clayton) Abbott of the RM of Westbourne, MB, and Patricia (Jack) Gibson of Neepawa, MB; stepson Allan Hotel and stepdaughter Heather (Les) Szelei, all of Calgary, AB; grandchildren Angela (Norman) Unrau, Jeff Butterfield with great-grandson Seth, Brittany Gibson, Ashley (Riley) Lederer, and Tosha Hotel; brother Ed (Lynn) Anderson of Boissevain, MB; sisters-in-law Mary Anderson of Surrey, BC and Pat Anderson of Toronto, ON, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. Funeral Service will be held at the MacGregor United Church on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Sarah Bruer officiating. Interment will take place at the MacGregor Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Bob's memory to the MacGregor Personal Care Home, 87 Grafton St. S., MacGregor, MB R0H 0R0.
