RITA REDMOND Peacefully on June 4, 2016, Rita passed away at the age of 76. Rita leaves to mourn her son Shawn; granddaughters, Chynna and Sierra; brothers, Mel (Carol), and Guy; nephews, Cody and Dalen. She was predeceased by her mother Alphonsine Knockaert. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held on June 17, 2016. Special thanks to the staff at HSC and Victoria General Hospital. Also to our friend, Garth Rodgers for his help and guidance during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rita's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. You will always be loved and never forgotten.

On a day such as today with clouds out and not doing too much we would have talked for an hour or two with lots of laughs along with concerns. I will miss her for a long time as a friend such as Rita, with her quick wit and understanding, are hard to find. She supported me endlessly in my life and we even had a few good arguments, which I will also miss. Too funny. I worked with Rita for 13 years and enjoyed working with her. She as always friendly and happy. She would pass along advice when you asked for any or just to pass on when she saw that you needed advice.
