GEORGE J. KOSOWAN 1934 - 2016 It is with profound sadness that we the family announce the passing of our father George J. Kosowan, who passed away peacefully at The Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. He will be mourned and sadly missed by his daughter Susan (Barry) Greco, his sons Paul (Louise) and Robert (Yolande), his grandchildren Philippe Greco, Rachelle Greco, Joel Kosowan, Stephanie Kosowan and Brittney Kosowan, his brothers Harry (Jeannette) and Bill (Joan), sister Bernice (Albert) and numerous nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by his father John, mother Pauline and brother Tony. He loved his pets, Buddy the cat and his two dogs Charlie and Daisy, whom he affectionately referred to as his "hush puppies". He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening, cycling and skiing. We would like to thank the staff at the Gimli Hospital, Arborg Hospital and the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, corner of Highway 9 and 2, Church Bay Lane, in Winnipeg Beach, MB.
