BLAINE GRANGER Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, Blaine Granger, aged 35 years of Ashern, MB, passed away at the Asper Institute in Winnipeg, MB. With his passing, Blaine is reunited with his mother Delphene McCallum and his father Bernard Blaine Granger Sr. He is survived by his five siblings, Brad Granger (Toni), Brett Granger (Danielle), Terra Granger (Chris), Dyea Measor (Daniel) and James Lakeman; his three adopted siblings, Haylee, Erin and Kiara Jensen; his stepdad David McLachlan and his adopted mom Lori Jensen of Ashern, MB. Blaine also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family. Blaine loved to laugh and make people smile. He was a very generous, caring and compassionate person. He shared a love of the Saskatchewan Roughriders with his mom. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling and spending time with friends. Blaine was a fighter and survived many obstacles in his life. We will all miss this very brave and strong person. We would like to thank the amazingly giving individual who donated their heart to give Blaine a fighting chance. Blaine always expressed immense gratitude to you and your family. We are also very grateful to the doctors and staff of the St. Boniface Hospital, the Asper Institute and the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute. Your efforts to give Blaine the life he deserved did not go unnoticed. In keeping with Blaine's wishes, cremation has taken place and a gathering to celebrate and honor Blaine's life, will be held at a later date. Be ever mindful that Blaine was a recipient of a donated heart and any considerations for donations in his memory, can be made to a charity of one's choice.
