Ken didn't have to be a grampa figure to next door kids and their dog, but he was without reservation, and he was interested and interesting. We are grateful to have had his loving attention, sage words, and beautiful drawings of our beloved Shelby. - Posted by: Alex and Kate (Neighbours) on: Jun 15, 2016

Our sincerest condolences to Dona (Nana) and the Burron family. We have many nice memories of Ken from family gatherings over the years. He was so loving towards his granddaughters - always smiling, joking, and telling stories with the girls. Our thoughts are with you all. - Posted by: Lori, Caelan and Emily (Friends of the family) on: Jun 15, 2016

Dr. Burron was my Geography teacher in high school in the early 70s. For a short period during that time, I was not the most cooperative student, but he was extremely patient and understanding and has always stood out as one of my favourite teachers during that time. I'm sorry to hear that he fell ill but it seems fitting that he passed away while in Winnipeg where he made an impact on so many lives . Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of such a special man. - Posted by: Patty Bambrick (Student at West Kildonan Collegiate - 1970-1973) on: Jun 15, 2016
