Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA MARY NORMAN Peacefully, on Wednesday, June 15, 2016, Patricia Mary Norman (nee Patrick) passed away at Oakview Place in Winnipeg, Manitoba at the age of 92 years. Remaining to cherish Pat's memory are her son, Trevor (Ruth); daughters-in-law, Lynda and Susan; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard (Dick) Norman; sons, Richard (Rick) and Kenneth; brother Jack and sister Celia Baines. Pat was born on March 17, 1924, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. In the 1930's, her family moved to Piney, Manitoba, where she eventually met and married Dick, and raised their three boys. Pat was always involved in any community event, and loved to share her passion for music and playing guitar. A private celebration of Pat's life will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Interment will follow at a later date in Piney, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermott Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1P6. My condolences to Trevor and his family. I remember when your Mom and Mrs. Blanchfield were my Wolf Cub leaders, many years ago. We had to pick names for them from the characters in The Jungle Book. We were all eager to pass the tests, such as knot tying, so we would get a badge for our moms to sew on the shirt sleeve of our uniform.
