DOROTHY JOAN ANDREWS (nee Oliver) Peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2016, Dorothy passed away at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband Ken and children, Tannis and John are left to mourn her passing. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life is planned for a later date. A longer notice will follow.

  • When I was a boy I loved spending time at the home of my friend John. His mother always had a kind word, as well as cookies and milk and salmon sandwiches, to spare. I also remember Mrs Andrews's entertaining way of talking to Butsy the dog throughout the day, as if she understood English.   • I will remember Dorothy's lovely and generous personality. Whatever she did, whatever she touched would get a ray of sunshine. Her small garden plot that she coaxed an abundant crop from, and from which she gave to friends and neighbours, her egg business, her door open for a visit. Her beautiful embroidery.And her laugh!
