Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • It is so hard to realize that I lost my grandfather 3,157 days ago. he was a lot of things, but to simplify, he was mine, and cancer took him away. I will always think about him and what life could have been like if he hadn't gotten sick. It has been the hardest 8 years and 7 months of my life. I wish I could say it has gotten easier, but it hasn't. There is not a single day where I don't miss him. - Posted by: Rachel Johnson (Granddaughter) on: Feb 09, 2025

  • I can’t believe it has been more than 6 years since this hardworking, kind man has left us and started his second life in heaven. He was a great person and would do anything for his family. It’s so tragic that he died so young because of a sickness that has no cure yet, but I believe that that my grandpa was too much of an angel for earth, and god needed him in heaven. Wishing grandpa the best, love Sarah - Posted by: Sarah Moore (Granddaughter ) on: Nov 12, 2022

  • So sorry to hear about Ken's passing - too young for sure. I had the pleasure of working with Ken for 30+ years. I always respected him as an engineer and fellow worker - he was one of the "bright lites" at UMA. My condolences to Alice and family. - Posted by: Shirley Edmonds (Co-Worker) on: Jun 22, 2016

  • Dear Alice Lesley and I were so sorry to see Ken's obit today. What a great loss for you and your family. We enjoyed visiting with you and Ken at both our homes years ago, and seeing you occasionally at Victoria Beach recently . I also liked and respected Ken as an engineer. I never heard a bad word about him. I am glad Ken retired early as you both seemed to enjoy life at the beach. Its too bad that you did not get more years at your Texas retreat. With deepest sympathy, George and Lesley - Posted by: George and Lesley Rempel (Friends) on: Jun 22, 2016
