I knew Les before he became famous! Played hockey with him at Pirates. I ran into him again when he first started his business and immediately knew he was destined for greatness! RIP my old friend. You left way too early. - Posted by: Rick Turriff (Feiend) on: Sep 04, 2016

I am saddened to hear of Les's passing. From high school I knew him to be kind and soft spoken. Back then 60ish was a really old person. Now that all of us are in our 60s it feels far too young to leave. I hope he had a good full life before he was taken from his family and friends. Rest in peace old friend. - Posted by: Cecile Martineau (T.C.I. Friend) on: Jul 01, 2016

So sorry to hear of Les' passing. I will always remember his warm smile and his demon-like moves on the tennis court (although I was only 11 or 12 the last time we played!). I remember him visiting our family in California in the early 70's and enjoying the sights. He was always in a good mood when we visited Uncle Oz and Aunt Bessie, even though he ended-up having to share his room. RIP Les... - Posted by: Doug Klippel (Cousin) on: Jun 29, 2016

My thoughts and prayers are with you, his daughter; Christine, the family and all who knew him. Many of us knew him through his social activities and he will be sadly missed. - Posted by: Genevieve van Oers (close friend) on: Jun 28, 2016

I cannot express how sorry and saddened I am to hear of Les's passing. He was truly one of a kind, so funny and so talented. The days we all spent at the lake were enhanced by Les's funny sense of humour. He will be missed deeply. - Posted by: Patricia fisette (Cousin) on: Jun 25, 2016
