Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • I am very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I was the receptionist at Beatrice Foods in the early 1990's and Fred was one of my more memorable characters. I always enjoyed talking to Fred. He loved to laugh and joke, but he also was ready to give good advice when asked. What a nice man he was. Deepest Condolences on the loss of Fred. - Posted by: Janett Hines (ex co-worker) on: Jun 19, 2018

  • I was stunned to hear (September 7) today that dear Fred has passed away. I knew Fred for the past 5 years as he attended three times a week a class I was teaching and had enrolled for this year, once again. All the students loved him, and he will be thoroughly missed. We loved his sense of humor and enjoyed hearing his many interesting life stories. Fred was an amazing man, and I feel blessed to have known him. May he be resting peacefully in the arms of the Lord. I offer my sincere condolences to his family. - Posted by: Karen (Instructor ) on: Sep 07, 2016

  • I was shocked to be reading Fred's obituary while I was on vacation in Europe. Had I of been here I would of attended the service. Fred and I spent many hours chit chatting in between work hours. He was so spontaneous and funny in his many ways. Please accept my condolences on his passing. Always so sad to lose family........ • Fred will be remembered fondly by myself, my wife Lorie, and our extended family of the Kildonan Tennis Club. He was a fixture at KTC and was always willing to play tennis with many members. Our time on court with Fred was enjoyable and memorable. Fred enjoyed good humor and was very capable of creating laughter and comraderie whether he initiated the joke or was the brunt of the joke. He will be sorely missed by all. Regards, David Scrapneck - Posted by: David Scrapneck (Friend, tennis) on: Jun 28, 2016
