BARBARA ANN (TAYLOR) PARADICE Barbara Paradice passed away suddenly on June 19, 2016. Predeceased by her beloved husband Allen in 1994. Survived by her sister, Elizabeth Morgensen (Gerry) and her nephew Brent Morgensen (Madlyn) and their children, Dane and Jack. From her husband's family, nephew Gary Johnson (Gladys), nieces, Joanne Ray (Malcolm), Elizabeth D'Oliveira (Rito) and Nancy Noonan, along with their children and grandchildren. Barbara was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and lived in the North End, St. Vital and St. James. She graduated from United College and in 1953 completed a Medical Technologist diploma at Deer Lodge Hospital. She worked in several hospitals in her career field for 44 years. In 1976 she developed and supervised the Embryo Fetal Pathology section at Vancouver General Hospital and the BC Children's Hospital until her retirement in 1997. She and her husband loved to travel and she continued to do so after his death. There will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, Barbara would like you to make a donation to the Canuck Place Hospice or the BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
