CRESWICK RYAN It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Cres, age 89, on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Cres is survived by his loving wife Winnifred, his children, Larry (Liz) and Heather (Brian), five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Cres worked for Canada Post. For many of his years at Canada Post he worked in the CUPW office. Cres and Wynne were married for over 70 years. They were very active members of St. Mark's Anglican Church for most of those years. They enjoyed many years of travel together, especially to Hawaii. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Golden Door Geriatric Centre (especially Mira) for the loving care they provided to Cres and the support they continue to give Wynne at this time. A private family memorial will take place at a later date.

Winn, I am so sorry to hear of Cres's passing. My wife and I have relocated to Kelowna BC, and I only learned of his passing when I went into the Winnipeg Free Press Passages earlier today. I truly enjoyed the company of yourself and Cres at the various Heritage Club functions. He will be well remembered and missed. My sincere condolences to yourself and your family.
