Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMILDRED LAND (JOHNSON) April 24, 1927 - June 26, 2016 Peacefully with her family at her side, Mildred passed away at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her children, Donna Hudson, David Land (Candice) of Florida, Lori Shaw of Denver, Sheri (Mike) Chmelnytzki of Stonewall, Erin Land; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kelly) Hudson, Steven (Elisa) Hudson, Ashley Land, Derek Shaw, Kevin (Heidi) Shaw, Cody, Matthew, Kelsey Chmelnytzki, Lars (Hayley) Akre, Anders Land; great-grandchildren, Eve and Julie Hudson, Skylar and Xander Hudson; brother-in-law Willard (Gerry) Land; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mildred was predeceased by her husband Guy of 57 years in 2008. They had many years of travelling together and met many great friends. Mildred had five children that she adored and loved to bake for. She enjoyed travelling to Barbados and Sweden where she still has many relatives. Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held in her honour. Millie( as we knew her) was such a pleasure to work with at Great West Life & always had a pleasant smile for everyone.I have a lot of great memories of her baking that she used to share with us as we worked evenings together & always sharing stories of our families.
