Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCASEY LEE BERGEN September 3, 1957 - July 3, 2016 It is with deep sadness and fond memories that we announce the passing of Casey on Sunday, July 3, 2016 suddenly at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Don and Elsie Bergen. He will be deeply missed by his wife Debbie Rudenko and his children, Lisa, Andrea, and Elizabeth Bergen, Megan (James) Trippier, Kaitlin and Drew Rudenko. He also leaves six grandchildren and one great-grandson. He also leaves his brothers, Tim (Maria), Morgan (Lillian), Zachary (Becky), Lincoln (Nicole), sisters, Lisa (Richard) and Nancy (Bob). There are also numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Casey loved family, they came first above all else. He also loved fishing and being with all the children. He loved teaching the children how to use a pocket knife, shoot a gun and use a slingshot. A lot of them had to go through the eat a worm' ceremony to show how tough they were. The girls were treated like princesses. Casey was known and loved by all that met him. He was someone you never forgot. A private service is being held. A memorial service will be held later.

Casey was, still, and always will be one of the greatest men I have met.He rescued me and my children from a relationship that was going bad and I will never forget that. It was the first time we met. We had fun throughout the years with his family, from barn parties to driving go carts and shooting guns, laughing and joking all the time etc etc. CASEY IF YOU CAN HEAR OR READ THIS.... I might be missing U, but you will be there forever in my heart. My deepest and sincere condolences to his family, friends and loved ones.R.I.P Casey and U better get a good catch up there in heaven while your at it. - Posted by: Tammy Latkovich (friend) on: Jul 06, 2016

Casey babysat my two oldest sons when they were 2 and 4 years old. He was really great with them. They loved him and were always happy to go to his house for the day. I was always very grateful to him for it. We also shared many great memories at his uncle Art's and aunt Agatha having great times with numerous friends till late in the evening. My deepest sympathies to the Bergen Family and his friends. He will be missed by many. - Posted by: Paulette Giesbrecht (Friend) on: Jul 06, 2016

I think of Casey often. I have for years. Life took us on different paths and different places, but when I think about my childhood, Casey lives in that memory. I remember wrestling when we were kids, and getting my butt kicked. I remember fishing in Sardis, I remember his grandparents farm at Vida. And picking strawberries in Chilliwack. To those to knew him, our world will be a little emptier with his loss, but much fuller for having known him! I know he will be with his parents and grandparents now, and that his fishing line will be tight. - Posted by: Dan Bergen (Cousin) on: Jul 06, 2016
