Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLILLIAN CARRIERE Lillian Carriere, age 106, passed away peacefully with family present on the evening of Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home. Born September 24, 1909, the daughter of Damien Berka and Eva Kolbuch, Lillian grew up and worked in Winnipeg. Lillian went on to become a homemaker and cook. Lillian married Joseph Carriere and had three children. Lillian had a passion for gardening, playing cards with her friends and grandchildren, and going for long walks. Lillian also enjoyed spending the summers at the cottage near Popular Bay. Friends and caregivers will remember Lillian as an energetic, independent person with a sly sense of humour, spirit and determination. Remaining to cherish Lillian's memory are her son Emile, daughter Theresa, granddaughters Lisa Gosselin, Jo-ann and Annette, grandson Brian, great-grandchildren, Jamie, Lindsey, Amber, David, Darryle, Mitchell, and great-great-grandsons, Hunter, Harley and Bentley. Her parents, sister Antonine, son Marcel, and granddaughter Janet predeceased her. Our family would like to thank the staff at the Bonvisita Lodge in Lac du Bonnet for the care they gave to Lillian during her 10 years there. Service is taking place at Glen Eden on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
