NOLA GAY BRELIS (nee FAKES) On Friday, July 8, 2016, after a long battle with illness, Nola Gay Brelis passed away peacefully with loved ones by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing her two children, son Christopher Brelis, daughter-in-law Angela and granddaughter Hayden; and daughter Johanne Brelis. She also leaves behind her brother Dwight Fakes, sister-in-law Debbie, and nephew Dirck. Nola was predeceased by her youngest son Trevor Buckle; her mother Beverly Eriksrud, stepfather Bjorn Eriksrud; and brothers Brent Fakes and Steven Fakes. Nola was a woman who loved her family very much. We added another window to the night sky for you to watch down and smile as you see the differences you made in our lives. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A private family service will take place with an interment in the fall. At this time the family would like to thank Shannon, Maureen and the rest of the staff at Oakview Place Extendicare who took care of Nola in her final days.
