Remembering my friend who was a wonderful classy lady. Shirley was a terrific, giving & caring person that would do everything to make you feel at home when you were in her presence. My thoughts take me back to some of the best Christmas parties that she & Jack hosted at their home in Coquitlam. She made everyone feel more than welcome & Shirl loved the kids & made sure they had everything to keep them happy. Needless to say, the adults had some of the best food that one could eat. She was an intelligent women that gave her heart & soul to GMAC for many years & still found time to make sure that the love of her life, Jack, whom she was devoted to for 60 years always looked well kept. Shirley was vice chairman of our Manitoba days in 1980 in Vancouver & she did a wonderful job raising lots of money for charity. She worked diligently to make it a success & it was! Shirley left a big, big void here in Coquitlam. I for one along with many of her friends have missed this wonderful women this past year. I know we are going to miss her for many more. If she wasn't the best of the best, she was close to it ! Rest in peace Shirl. Tracy Pratt Coquitlam. B.C. - Posted by: Tracy Pratt (Friend) on: Jul 04, 2017
