MIKE HORBULYK October 20, 1927 - July 14, 2016 With sadness, we announce the passing of Mike Horbulyk, a long-time resident of Burnaby, BC. Raised near Ashville (RM Gilbert Plains), Mike attended the Drifting River School. He was a long-service retiree of CN Telegraphs and CNCP Telecommunications (Vancouver). Mike was a devoted father and will be remembered for his love of all things outdoors, including beaches, camping, cycling, gardening, and long walks through Central Park. Mike is survived by Olive Horbulyk, and by his children, Mel Ryane (William Yeh) of Los Angeles, Ted (Katie Johnson) of Calgary, and Marty (Janet) of Burnaby. Beloved grandpa to Travis, Lindsay, Jacob, Adele and Isaac. Cremation has taken place, and by request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, perform a random act of kindness or consider a donation to the SPCA.
