WFP "in memoriam" brought me here today. Sad to see Lyndon's name there, to find out he passed away a while back. I was also a school friend of Lyndon at Kent Road school; I remember him being friend of just about everyone. His great sense of humour had me laughing constantly. I never saw Lyndon again after we left that school but it says a lot about the impact he had on me that I still remember him so well after all these years! - Posted by: K.Kafka (School Friend) on: Jul 14, 2020

I'm just seeing now that Lyndon passed last summer. As stated above, I knew him from elementary school, until he moved away in grade 5 I think. It was a tough area of town, especially for the lone Chinese Canadian kid. Out of my whole grade, I could count on one hand the kids that didn't call me names and shun/beat me. Lyndon was one of them. He was a good one. I remember connecting with him again in University, where we were both in Mech Eng. Despite growing up on separate paths, we ended up in the same place! Our paths diverged again but he found me on linkedin and we began communicating again a number of years ago. To Lyndon's loved ones - I am deeply sorry for your loss. He was a good one, but you knew that already. Take care. - Posted by: Kenneth Wong (Friend from Kent Road School) on: Jun 14, 2017

- Posted by: lepargneur/hollier-larousse (french friends) on: Sep 10, 2016

I worked with Lyndon for a year at Testlabs, and remained friends with he and Vicky afterward. I strongly admired Lyndon's natural abilities as an engineer and how very inquisitive he was about everything, and always ready to share his wealth of knowledge with others. Lyndon was fun to work with and fun to hang out with. Memorable events, driving his steam engine in the Austin parade, getting together with Vicky and Lyndon in Oklahoma (I was working there briefly at the time) and going to a steam engine show in a small community. Big hugs to all his family, so difficult to loose Lyndon at such a young age and the journey through this illness is very difficult indeed. We've just lost my husbands brother to the very same illness on July 21 of this year. Vicky, you are always welcome here. Lyndon, see you in the next life, Mate. - Posted by: Tammy Janz (Friend and former coworker) on: Sep 09, 2016

I grew up with Lyndon and thinking back on those days brings back floods of happy memories. Lyndon is one of the funniest and smartest people I have ever known. See you in the next life Lyndon! - Mark - Posted by: Mark Isleifson (Cousin) on: Jul 29, 2016
