She was born May 25, 1929 in Mossey River, MB. She is survived by sons, Gordon (Valerie), Frederick (Glynnis) and Bruce; daughter Donna (Steven); eight grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brothers, Mike and Frank (Bert) and Aunt Angela "Nell". She was predeceased by her husband Fridifinnur Kernested; infant son William Joseph and parents, Felix and Jessie. Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Bardal Funeral Home, Winnipeg. Interment at Brookside Cemetery.
