Georgie was a high school friend in the 50s. She was a sweetie. I used to date her late sister Jackie and used to spend a lot of time at their place on Niagara. Great family. So sad. - Posted by: Charles Phelan (Friend) on: Aug 26, 2016

I met Georgie aka Dodie through my Mom, Roberta, who passed away last May (May 8, 2015) and Georgie and I kept in touch. She was a tremendous support to me and we'd call each other to check in and chat. She'd always call me love and we ended every conversation with, I love you. I came to know and understand why my Mom loved her so much. She was a very special lady. I learned of her passing when I called her today for one of our conversations. I wish I had learned of her passing earlier as I would have been at Columbus Courts on July 21 to celebrate her. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her strength, support and love. My thoughts and prayers are with her family. I love you, Georgie. - Posted by: Adele Fitzgerald (Friend) on: Aug 10, 2016

I met Georgie when she worked at Transair Airlines way back in the 70's. She was wonderful, quiet, but lots of fun. She belonged to the "in crowd" along with four other ladies. We had lots of laughter, good meals, sharing, and love. She was a good person. Sorry for her loss, I only wish we didn't lose contact, but the world works that way. RIP my friend. - Posted by: Gloria Ivory (Friend (Transair)) on: Jul 23, 2016
