KATRINA KUFFEL Katrina Marie Kuffel, aged 26, was killed in a tragic highway accident on July 11, 2016. She is survived by her parents, Peter and Theresa Kuffel; sister Jaclyn Kuffel; brother-in-law John Jerrett; nephew Peter Jerrett; grandparents, Eugene and Lillian Cherwick and Edmond and Alicja Kuffel; sponsor child Luis; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Katrina was born and raised in Winnipeg and spent nearly two years in New Zealand before settling in Edmonton with her family. In early 2016, Katrina and her sister fulfilled a long-standing dream of founding a business, Honeyguide Holistics Inc., in which Katrina's passion for helping and advocating for others could be showcased. She loved spending time outdoors, practicing yoga, skiing in Whistler, riding her motorcycle, and above all else, spending time with her nephew, "Cheetoh." Katrina was beautiful inside and out, genuinely kind, brave, funny, smart, generous and really cool. A celebration of her life was held in Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Katrina's memory to the Excel Society of Edmonton.
