Iris Lawrence, was your name when we met in the mid fifties, I won't ever forget you and Jeanie, how much fun we had when we came to Transcona to visit your family. Actually, your wonderful dad, George Lawrence, would drive from Transcona to the Inner city to pick us up in his maroon Hillman, and drive us back home again. We had just come to Canada and it was through those long drives we got to know the Lawrence Family, and the reason we moved to Transcona. I feel very sad that I didn't get a chance to say good-bye and more, I doubt I ever told you how much The Lawrence Family helped us settle in Canada.
