JACQUELINE (JACKIE) WILLIAMS (nee MORRISON) It is with heavy hearts that Jackie's family announces her passing at a youthful age of 64 years. Jackie left us on Friday, July 22, 2016 in Winnipeg, MB, after a brave battle with cancer. Left to treasure Jackie's memory are her sons, Jason, Derek (Vicky) and Kevin (Aaren), as well as her grandchildren, Sawyer, Corbin and Nova. Jackie was predeceased by her parents, John and Elsie Morrison, grandson Gavin, and her mother-in-law Sheila Williams. Jackie was a woman who lived life to the fullest. She was an avid traveler who was blessed to enjoy sandy beaches and exotic getaways. Jackie was also a very talented gardener and enjoyed sharing this passion with her children and their families. One of Jackie's greatest joys was forming special bonds with her grandchildren. She was an extraordinary Gramma and spoiled her babies rotten. She showered them with love and they returned that same love back to her. Mom, you will be forever missed, but never forgotten. You left us on a beautiful summer day, but now you are the sunshine. You are the dragonflies dancing on air, and the flowers blooming everywhere. The family would like to thank Dr. Grenier and the team at CancerCare who cared for Jackie, as well as all of the nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital. They kept her as comfortable as possible and the family will be forever grateful. A private family ceremony will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare.
