JEREMIE NTACOMAZE July 15, 1944 July 20, 2016 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jérémie Ntacomaze on July 20, 2016. He passed suddenly early in the morning on his duty during his night shift. Jérémie was born on July 15, 1944 in Burundi, centre-east of Africa. He was the fourth of a family of seven. Jérémie was a loving and compassionate man. He knew the value of hard work and had earned the respect and love of many who had the chance to know him. He was community minded and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church. Jérémie is survived by his loving wife Carinie Kururu, his four children: Ariane Inankima, Diane Nduwamariya, Gustave-Flaubert Irambona (Ingrid Irakoze), Florent Bahizi Semugono (Sheila Kanyambo); and six grandchildren: Ethan R. Mugisha, Einar Alexander Kyller, Lukas Edgar Kyller, Queen-Shalom Uwimana, Ilana Chaim Ngabirenziza, Dave-Junior Mugisha Irambona. He is survived also by his two sisters. Jérémie was predeceased by his parents, his brother, and three sisters. He is loved dearly and will be forever in our hearts. Our lives will not be the same without him. He will be missed especially by the youngest grandchild who was born in a refugee camp a year ago and didn't have the chance to meet him. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Saint Boniface Cathedral, 180 de la Cathedrale Ave. at 10:30 a.m., preceded by the viewing between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m., officiated by Léon Mubikayi Kalengayi. Interment will follow at Saint Boniface cemetery on Archibald Street.
