HELEN OLGA LEMOINE (nee BILYK) It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Aunt. Helen passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 2, 2016 at the age of 85. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband and soul mate, Daniel; her sons, Randy (Daina) Soviak and Jeff Soviak; her grandchildren, Kelsey (Paul) Martin, Carson Soviak (girlfriend Genna); her great-granddaughter Leah Martin and step great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Evan Martin; her nieces, (the Kmet girls) Pat (Bohdan) Roslycky and son Marko, Nadia (Rocco) Dibiase and Darcia (Glen) Crone and many relatives from the Stoyko/Bilyk and Lemoine families. Helen was predeceased by her parents Michael and Malania Bilyk; sister Angela Kmet (2002); brother-in-law Bill Kmet (1998) and parents-in-law Roger and Guilda Lemoine. Helen enjoyed her quiet country life, maintaining her beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She will be remembered for her loving, kind and gentle spirit. She touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Dr. T.R. Babick for his dedication to Helen's care, to Dr. L. Homik, Dr. Chowdhury and CancerCare. A thank you as well to Southern District Palliative Care Staff and nurse Pauline Gosselin and to the care team at St. Pierre Hospital. Very special thanks to Father Lalonde for the many visits to provide guidance and counselling for Helen. In keeping with Helen's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Ste. Agathe Catholic Church, 233 Pembina Trail, Ste. Agathe, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare. Vichnaya Pamyat
