LLOYD JOPLING It is with heavy hearts we are announcing the passing of Lloyd George Jopling, 71 years of age, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock BC. Lloyd was born in 1945 and grew up in St. Boniface, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Mabel Jopling; sister-in-law Claire Jopling and leaves behind his children, Candace (Mike), Corey (Avionne), and Ryan (Moneca); as well as his grandchildren, Brett and Karlee. In addition to his children and grandchildren, Lloyd will be missed by his brothers and sister Norm (Joy), Wayne, John (Jane), Lois (Derek) and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He spent a long career as a Carmen with CN Rail until retirement, was an active outdoorsman and loved nothing better than to fish and hunt or just tinker in his garage. Dad struggled with illness over the last few years and we'd like to thank family and friends for their unwavering support during this time. Bobby, Wayne, Tex, Auntie Terry, Auntie Denise, Koko, your love and support (and help around the house) meant the world to Dad and we will be forever grateful. At Dad's request a formal service will not be held, however a Celebration of Life will be held in Winnipeg at a later date. Always in our hearts, rest in peace Dad, the pain is now gone.

I have a lot of memories of Lloyd when I was in my teen years. His nickname for me was "froggie" and even when I spoke with him several years ago he used my nickname. It is sad to read of his passing. My condolences to the family. - Posted by: Edith Morin (Friend) on: Aug 05, 2016
