CLARA MARIE LANGAN The family of Clara Langan are sad to announce her passing on Thursday, August 4, 2016, the day after her 97th birthday. She was the first born child of Dave and Emily Langan (nee Paul) from the Duck Mountain / Boggy Creek area of Manitoba. For many years Clara owned and operated the Gilbert Plains Bus Depot restaurant. In her later working life many years were spent maintaining the beautiful grounds of Kildonan Park for the City of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents; brothers, Albert, Archie, Fred and David; sisters, Olive and Lewina. Left to mourn are her brother Wilfred (aka Weab) (Cathy) and sisters, Zena, Irene and Jane (Chris), as well as a numerous nephews and nieces. A celebration of Clara's life will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, 7:00 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 12 Hawthorne Place, Selkirk, MB. A private family internment will take place at a later date. Our family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Tudor House, Selkirk, MB; they took wonderful care of our sister. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean we'll miss you, Until we meet again!
