RAYMOND LAURENT LAMY It is with great sadness that we announce, with family at his side, the passing of Raymond on August 5, 2016 at the age of 85 years. He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Many thanks for the care and concern from staff of E5 Medicine St. Boniface Hospital, Shoppers Drug Mart Marion Street over the years, his health care nurses and aides, and Cathedrale Manor staff - he truly loved living at his residence, and to all who helped with the constant vigil at his side in hospital. A longer obituary and Celebration of Life to follow at a later date. When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared Miss me but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take And each must go alone, It's just a part of the Master's plan, A step on the road home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me...but let me go. My condolences to Ray's family. I got to know Ray in Jameswood, when we purchased pups from the same litter back in 1999 - Mini and Cosmo. Ray and I would often get together in the park and let the animals play together. Ray always had the best stories! I always appreciated the Christmas baking each year as well. Miss them both - a very nice couple. - Posted by: laura turner (Jameswood neighbor) on: Aug 23, 2016
