NORMAN GRANT MOULDER After a brief illness at Ridge Meadows Hospital Norman Grant Moulder, born July 6, 1934, passed away August 4, 2016. Predeceased by parents Daisy and Henry, and brothers Edwin and Ernie. Norm is survived by his best friend and wife of 65 years, Norma, son Daryl (Kris), daughter Shari (Mike), grandchildren Amanda and Grant Moulder, two great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Vicky, Alice and Shirley, three nieces, four nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews and friends in British Columbia, across Canada and in Hemet, CA. Norm attended high school at Isaac Newton in Winnipeg. He took many courses related to his lifetime job as an Appraiser/Assessor and acquired many designations. Norm's first sports love was hockey. He was both an avid player and league manager in his life. Norm participated in many other sports and he loved to play cards. Norm worked as an Appraiser for Metro Winnipeg, moving to Maple Ridge in 1967 he was employed as an Assessor for the next 24 years until his retirement. Norm was a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Haney for 24 years. He was honoured by Danny Sharpe and Rotary Club of Haney as a Paul Harris Fellow, of which he was very proud. Upon retirement in 1991 we spent most winters in Hemet, CA. In the summers we would hop in our little 20' Islander and just travel. We had 25 excellent years of retirement. The family would like to say thank you to Ridge Meadows Hospital staff in the ICU who were so kind and compassionate; Dr. Lord, Dr. Kotylak, Dr. Dugdale and Dr. G. Harrington. There will be no service at Norm's request. If you wish, a donation to the SPCA or charity of your choice would be appreciated. Rest in Peace, Norm. You were one great guy! Love you.
