MARY LYNN CHURCH September 24, 1944 - August 12, 2016 Peacefully, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Mary Lynn Church entered joyfully into the presence of her Lord. Lynn was predeceased by her husband Basil Peltier, her father William Hasenpflug, and her brother Peter Hasenpflug. She is survived by her daughter Lorie McGregor (John) and her son Greg Church (Maria). She will be sadly missed by her grandsons Michael, Matthew and Jared McGregor, step-granddaughter Jessica Zeppa, her sisters Jane Nixon (John) and Lesley Hays (John), and her mother Retis Hasenpflug. Lynn was a born caregiver who enjoyed several years as a nurse sharing her gift of compassion with many. Friends and family members were blessed by her words of wisdom and encouragement. Her greatest joys were spending time with her children and grandsons, as well as sharing her wisdom and faith with the downtrodden. Having experienced many personal challenges and victories, Mom was a treasured friend and confidant. We will miss you so much Mom. Knowing you are finally at peace makes it a little easier to let you go. A celebration of Lynn's life will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Maranatha Church, 910 Sturgeon Road.
