HELENE PICHE Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, August 18, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Boulevard at Grant Avenue, with Msgr. Rev. HELENE PICHE Having completed her Earthly journey, Hélène passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Grace Hospital. Born to Almir and Bertha Arnal on March 17, 1919, the third of seventeen children, Hélène learned the value of hard work and the joy of family. Left to mourn her memory are her daughters, Patricia and Lynne; her granddaughters Diane Bihun (Dave) and Danielle Rondeau (Paul) and great-granddaughter Anna Rondeau. She is also survived by siblings, Irene Kuhl, Rita Albert, Lorraine Tinckam, and Richard Arnal; as well as in-laws Carol, Gladys, Mélanie, Gertrude, Patricia Arnal, Marcelle Caron and Lorraine Piché. She was predeceased by her husband, Roger; her parents; parents-in-law, Charlemagne and Marie-Louise Piché; sons-in-law André Pantel and Blaine Mackay; and her siblings Gertrude, Denise, Liliane, Clara, Florence, Léo, Louis, Vincent and Jules. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Thursday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Boulevard at Grant Avenue with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault P.H. presiding. Interment will follow in the Fannystelle Cemetery, Fannystelle, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Hélène's memory to the Osteoporosis Canada, 123 St. Anne's Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2M 2Z1 or to the ALS Society of Manitoba, 2A, 1717 Dublin Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3H 0H2.
