MARGUERITE (BUNNIE) MATILDA MUHLY Peacefully on Sunday, August 14, 2016, Bunnie Muhly passed away at the Portage District General Hospital at the age of 95 years. Left to mourn her passing are her sister Calista Franzmann; nephews, Allan Norden, Les Norden, Rob Atkinson, Don Franzmann, Jamie Franzmann and Terry Franzmann; nieces, Mona Lecroix and Charlene Franzmann; step-daughters, Barbara Plambeck and Joyce Gleason and brother-in-law Cliff Atkinson, as well as numerous cousins and extended family members. Also left to mourn Bunnie's passing are Dallas Lazzerini and the many other friends she met while wintering in Mesa, AZ. Bunnie was predeceased by her husbands, Bob Wheelans and George Muhly; sister Iris Atkinson; brother-in-law Herb Franzmann and her parents, Elizabeth (nee Watkins) and James Braden. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 20 at McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel with Rev. Beth Kerr officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Bunnie's memory to Trinity United Church, 15 Tupper Street S., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 1W7 or to a charity of one's choice.
