We respected Maurice's business acumen and knew him both personally and professionally (hotel business) for many years. Lucky us. Moe will be missed. We enjoyed our many years working with him at Aactive Coin. He had a heart of gold and was great to be around, especially when sharing a beverage at Teddy Bob’s. Who could forget that laugh! What a fun loving man. I met Maurice and Bev through my job with hotels, he attended every event and was always willing to offer advice to a rookie in the industry. The motor home at the golf tournaments was a gathering spot for many hours. I'm sad that he's gone but thinking of him makes me smile. - Posted by: Jim Baker (Business ) on: Aug 22, 2016

Uncle Maurice meant a lot to me and my sisters. He was caring and very supportive to us after our father , (Maurice's brother) John passed. Uncle Maurice, I believe you and our dad John will be there above, to keep us safe and guide us when we need you. Thank you for your kind heart. - Posted by: Anita Basset (Niece) on: Aug 22, 2016

We only knew you and your wife through our frequent Thursday night bingo on Traverse. We always talked about our annual Mexico trip and you always talked about your US trip. We would count the days. You sat behind us and lately we noticed that the table you would sit at has been vacant for some time now. Our deepest condolences to your wife and the entire family. Sorry for your loss. God bless.
