I was first introduced to Syd Bercovich, 20 years ago, at the Rady Centre. I said: "Syd Bercovich is too long a name to remember, so I will hereafter refer to you as Mr. B.". I was blessed with 20 years of friendship with Mr. B. I would see him regularly at the gym, but, almost daily, at the Law Courts. We went to the Blue Bomber Breakfast every year, out for lunch when we had time, and while he vacationed in Florida for the winter, I would cut out all Court stories in the Free Press and Winnipeg Sun and mail them to him. I told him, he could read everything online from Florida, but he told me he wanted to receive an envelope from me, every week, "puff-full" of stories. I miss him, and have thankfully...20-plus years of super-happy memories of my friend, Mr. B. -From Mike Cook. - Posted by: Mike Cook (friend) on: Sep 04, 2016

My Deepest Condolances to Ms. Silver and Mr. Bercovichs' Family I met Sydney while I worked with Dr. Hildebrand, a few years ago. Sydney was a wonderful person. Such a wonderful presence. It was a pleasure to have met him and Clarice. I know he will be surely missed in this life, until we meet again.
