Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRACIE EVELYN LAMIRANDE (nee FLETT) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother, sister, aunt, great-aunt, great great-aunt and friend. Gracie Evelyn Lamirande was born on October 3, 1933 in Duck Bay, Manitoba. On August 24, 2016 Gracie passed away at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre at the age of 82. Gracie leaves to mourn; her daughters, Sharon (George), Debbie (Fred), Lulu, Loretta (Cecil), Barbara (Steve), and her son Delmar (Krissy); along with 28 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; eight great great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary, Lizzie, Marlene (Edward), Doris, Rita, Lillian, as well many nieces and nephews. Gracie was predeceased by her loving partner Bob; her parents, George and Charlotte Flett; son George; sister Lena; brother Delmar; grandson Allen; granddaughter Brittney; and great-grandson Kashton. A traditional wake service will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Duck Bay School Gymnasium at Duck Bay, Manitoba at 2:00 p.m. Prayers will be offered at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday September 1, 2016 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father John Okosun officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. Sheila Menard and the 2nd floor medical team at Dauphin Regional Health Centre for their compassion and care.
