MARILYN ROSE WITYSHYN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Marilyn (Woody) on August 21, 2016 in Ashland, Oregon at the age of 63. Marilyn grew up in Komarno (Polson area). She graduated from Teulon Collegiate and earned her Masters Degree in Recreation Administration from UND Fargo Campus. She was employed by Parks and Recreation in Juneau, Alaska for many years. She lived in Calgary for a short time, then moved to Oregon. She was predeceased by her parents William and Pearl. She is survived by sisters Gloria (John) LaPorte, Isabel (Lawrence) Kruk, Sylvia (David) Yablonski, and brother Larry, along with nine nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon, MB. Interment at Polson Cemetery.

  • Woody was a true friend. She was caring and giving and always ready to help. She was a super athlete but always so humble about her skills and talents.   • I attended Teulon High School with Marilyn for 4 years. My favorite memory of Marilyn was in gym class. She was my polka dance partner.
