MAY MCNAB (nee NICHOLSON) (HOWE) May passed away peacefully on August 19, 2016, in her 96th year in Port Hope, Ontario. May was predeceased by her adored and adoring husband William in 1981. She is survived by her loving children Nancy (Michael), Daniel (Annemarie), June (Stewart), and Bill (Margaret); welcomed-and-smiled-upon grandchildren Michelle (Bram), Jayson (Shandell), Gregor (Suzy), David (Kristy), Lisa, Gemma, and Al; cherished great-grandchildren, and brothers William and James (Joan). May was predeceased by her parents, siblings - Beatrice, Gladys, Evelyn, Christine and Alexander "Bunny". Amongst her many, wisdespread family members May was especially close to and thankful for - Courtney, Gwen (Roy), Bill, Ken, Sue and Jenny. May lived life as a reserved, loyal, tenacious and committed woman. According to May's wishes there will be no funeral service. A celebration of her life will be scheduled later. If people wish to acknowledge May's life and presence - she would have appreciated a donation to Wounded Warriors Canada or a local Children's Aid Foundation. Our family wish to acknowledge and thank the kind staff in all departments at Hope Street Terrace and the Veterans of the Canadian Legion.
