MARIA DA LUZ RAPOSO It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother. Maria Da Luz Raposo passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Seven Oaks Hospital on August 30, 2016 at the age of 92 years. Maria was predeceased by her husband Manuel Do Rego in 1980 and son Antonio Do Sousa in 2016. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her children, Alda (Manuel), Adriana (Antonio), Norberto (Delfina), Gabriella (Eduain), Carlos (Grace); and daughter-in-law Lucia; as well as 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Maples Personal Care Home for all their care. Visitation 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Bardal Funeral Home with prayers at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. N., Winnipeg. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Queen Of Heaven Mausoleum, 3990 Portage Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, a Donation may be made to the Alzheimer Society Of Manitoba in Honour of Maria.
