TRACEY SANDERSON-WELBY Peacefully on August 31, 2016 Tracey passed away at Riverview Health Centre with her husband, Brian, by her side. Left to cherish her memory are the loves of her life, her daughter Avery and son Connor, mother Pat (David), father John, sister Lori (Calvin) and daughters Emily and Elisabeth, brother Larry (Renata) and sons Thomas, Nathan and Justin. Also mourning her passing are her grandmothers Grace Shedden and Sophie Sanderson, godmother Nancy Green, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be deeply remembered and forever loved by Brian's brothers, sisters and their families. Tracey was born on December 8, 1971 in Winnipeg and from the moment she opened her eyes captivated everyone who knew her. She was a creative, independent and compassionate woman who loved a good laugh or spending time with her family and friends. Tracey worked at Perth Services for her entire career and for relaxation the family enjoyed travelling and spending time at the cottage in Winnipeg Beach. She loved animals, especially her "Bella" and was an avid music lover, particularly 1980s music. The family would like to thank the staff in ward 3E at Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care, as well as Brian's sisters Christine, Donna and Eileen for their support of Tracey and the family during her illness. A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society are appreciated.

I had the absolute privilege of spending time with Tracey last year when she and Brian graciously offered to host me during my visit to Winnipeg last July to attend another of our cousin's weddings. I received such kindness and gracious hospitality. Tracey was always smiling, humming, or singing with her pretty voice and we became instant friends when I knew immediately who the pictures of the 4 men were opposite her dining room table. The Bee Gee's, of course! Wasn't it obvious? Tracey was always ready to offer anything that I might have needed while at her home. Tracey had a deep, obvious pride and love for her beloved handsome husband and her children Avery and Connor. Bella, always near, was her special love. She told me many stories; her favorite being when Brian was able to buy her dream home; the one she had been admiring from her backyard. She gave to me a remnant piece of mink fur from an old coat to use as trim for the moccasins that I had plans to make. Those moccasins will stay with me, specially trimmed with memories. My heart breaks for your loss. There are no words to console. How could I possibly know how you feel? May it help just a little to know that others truly care and were also touched by your beautiful Tracey. In lieu of flowers I am sending a gift to the Winnipeg Humane Society in her memory. Remember that one never dies; we just take off our earth suit and become who we truly were to start with. Absent from the body; present with the Lord. My sincere heartfelt condolences to Brian, Avery, Connor and all other family and friends who are now missing their Tracey. You will see her again. God Bless you. My deepest condolences to Brian, Avery, Connor, and all other family and friends. I worked with Tracey at Perth's for many years. Our lives paralleled in many ways especially when we had children around the same time. When I left Perth's we got reacquainted at our Doctors office, all places, and then on Facebook. Tracey will be missed by so many, and in her short time left one amazing legacy. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Liane Ross-Martin (Friend(old co-worker)) on: Sep 07, 2016

Tracey was a couple years older than me in high school, and we worked together chucking chicken at KFC. She was always someone to look up to - her smile and spirit were contagious! I reconnected with her in the past couple of years on FB and was blessed with a chance meeting with her. My heart breaks for her family. Sending prayers and strength at this difficult time. Rest in peace Tracey. - Posted by: Stacy Kent (Claven) (High school friend) on: Sep 03, 2016

Tracey was the cutest little "eskimo" baby when she was born. I was only 11 at the time, but I knew even then that she would be a gorgeous woman when she grew up. She didn't disappoint. But her beauty was much more than skin deep, she was the most genuine person I ever had the privilege to know. Rock On Tracey Lou! You will be missed. - Posted by: Wendy Green-Tereck (Auntie "Wee Wee" Wendy) on: Sep 03, 2016

My condolences to the family. I met Tracey in elementary school , we shared a birthday and a love of 80s music. We had lost touch over the years, but reconnected several years back. I hope she is at peace now. - Posted by: Gaynor Bibby (Friend) on: Sep 03, 2016
