RYAN TYLER MONDS (FONZ) December 29, 1981 - September 4, 2016 Ryan passed away peacefully and is free from illness and pain. Heartbroken by his passing are his mother Anne (Dave); father Ron (Charlene); brother Cody; stepsisters, Emily and Grace (Kyle); and nephew Nathan. Also mourning his loss are aunts, uncles, cousins, many life-long friends and friends through Cushing's Disease Awareness. Respecting Ryan's wishes, there will be no funeral service. A private family interment will take place at Sunnyside Cemetery. Donations to Siloam Mission in Ryan's memory would be greatly appreciated. Goodbye came too soon. We love you. Miss Me But Let Me Go When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long, And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared, Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take, And each must go alone, It's part of the Master's plan, A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds, Miss me - but let me go www.seasonsfunerals.ca

Condolences & Memories (12 entries)

  • It saddens me beyond words that the family lost such a good man. After moving away I lost touch with Ryan , but Char and Ron , thank you for keeping me up to date over the years of his challenges as well as his accomplishments. I recall his sweet, quiet nature as a youngster out at the Lake and how he liked the outdoors. You will always be able to be so proud of what a good man he became. Hold your memories dear and my hope is they give some comfort in this tragic time. Sending my love and prayers. - Posted by: Darlene (Auntie by Marriate) on: Sep 16, 2016

  • I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I didn't know Ryan but I saw on a Cushings Disease Facebook post. I'm also battling the disease. I had Pituitary surgery in March 2016. I'm in remission but still struggle as I continue to heal. I will keep fighting and raising awareness in memory of Ryan and all of us fighting this disease. - Posted by: Sue Ann () on: Sep 11, 2016

  • Ryan, my dear fellow Cushie, you had such a long, hard battle with Cushings Disease and you were robbed of the life you dreamed of and deserved however you always turned lemons into lemonade. Your positivity was infectious and like me, you knew you'd never get well with a bad attitude even though you had every right to be miserable. You helped me so much through my early years with Cushings and my brain surgeries because you had a head start and although I know I helped you in your last days, I'll always regret not being able to help you MORE so you could see all of your dreams come to fruition like going to Disney and one day becoming a Daddy. :( The ONLY blessing in your passing is that you're no longer in pain, no more surgeries and no more suffering. Rest now, disease-free, and be at peace. One day, I'll come for the hug you owe me and I know you'll help me again. Love and Miss You, Ryan 'The Hulk' Monds ~☆~☆~ To all Ryan's friends and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you keep Ryan alive in your hearts and memories and celebrate his life by living with as much strength, courage, positivity, humor, kindness, optimism and HOPE as he did. Choose to make every day the best it can be. Tell Ryan's story whenever you can so maybe someone else can be saved from years of suffering with Cushings Disease and by doing so, Ryan's HOPE lives on. May peace and comfort soon come to all who knew Ryan. xox - Posted by: Beth G. (FRIEND) on: Sep 11, 2016
