DANIEL GEORGISON A loving, caring man, whose home was always open to family and friends, Daniel passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016. Daniel began his life December 29, 1930 in Old Kildonan, Manitoba. He, along with his parents and his brothers, expanded the family farm eventually moving to Rosser. He continued the dairy and grain farm with his brother Anthony and his nephews until his retirement in 1993. Retirement didn't sit well with him so he started an underpinning business with Brian Walsh until he decided to give retirement a second try. He then spent his evenings with the gang at the clubhouse on Grassmere Road. Daniel was predeceased by his brother Roy, and daughter Louise. He leaves to mourn his daughter Louise's son Patrick; daughter Judy (Earl), their children, Christopher (Amanda), Angela (Joey), great-grandchildren, Heatley and Mason; daughter Sandra (Ed), their children, Trenton and Katie; brothers, Sydney and Anthony (Irene); and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital, 3rd Floor, Unit 5 for the care and compassion they showed Daniel during his stay. Funeral service will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Alan Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow at Lilyfield Cemetery.
