LOUIS ALLAN (AL) WILLERTON It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Allan Willerton "Al" on September 10, 2016 at his residence at 66 years old. Al was born on April 13, 1950 in Neepawa, Manitoba and resided there until 1972. He then packed up his family and moved to Winnipeg to pursue his career in upholstery. The bulk of his career was spent at Palliser furniture. He continued as an upholsterer, eventually retiring from Art Upholstery in Winnipeg. Al enjoyed hunting, playing baseball and bowling where he made many good friends. He was an avid golfer and 'chipped' his way around the province, mostly with his favourite golf partner, his nephew Cory, who lovingly referred to him as "uncle Duffer". He was predeceased by his father, Clinton "Nipper" and his brother Maurice "Moe". To cherish his memories Al leaves his mother Agnes "Chuck"; his son Michael (Danny); his daughter Randi (Travis);, his beloved grandsons, Logan and Austin; his siblings, Harold (Carmen), Darlene (Terry), Wayne, Gary, Roy (Lori), and Barrie (Sheena); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews. To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Neepawa Cemetery on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
