Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Ronald& I were very good friends he was always there for you. Some time after Richard passed Ronald gave me his Safeway jacket. He said I should have it because it had my name on it. I considered this an honour to wear it & still honour them both now. I will sure miss that smile too & nowing he is at rest in a better place. - Posted by: Richard Dykes / Rick Dykes Hauling (Co worker/ friend /Safeway) on: Sep 21, 2016

  • When my brothers were born they were so tiny no one but my parents ever thought they would survive their first few months, however they defied all the odds and grew up to be tall strong and handsome young men who always gave their best and never gave up. They were always willing learners who met every challenge in life with a big smile and a twinkle in their eye, Richard went to the bush to haul timber in the winter while Ron drove truck, they both loved their careers in long haul trucking and had many a story to tell. My favorite one was told at our cousins house today, apparently my brother Ron was en route to deliver a new bus and got lost somewhere in Toronto, he decided to stop the new bus at a bus stop and when he opened the door and the passengers started to board. - Posted by: susan Loeppky () on: Sep 20, 2016
