JOHN MICHAEL SZPORT (SZPOT) John Michael Szport passed away at the Rideau Park Personal Care Home on September 7, 2016. He was born on April 11, 1947 in Dauphin and resided in Moose Bay, MB for half his life. His work as electrician took him to many locations from Tadoule Lake, to Churchill, to the Parkland area. He continued his education by taking computer courses in Dauphin and settled in Brandon. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Anne, and best buddy cousin Andrew. He is survived by his sister Marie (John); daughter Marie (Chris) and their children Marissa and Nate; his son John (Crystal), and many cousins. His cousin Maggie's friendship was especially valued. Cremation has taken place with interment to follow near his parents in Weiden. A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
