Rick will be forever loved by his wife, Nancy Cole (nee Bannatyne) of 42 years of marriage; children, Jodi (Jamie) and Ryan (Julie); grandchildren, Keinan, Beaudy and Porter; sister, Alice Cole; Chris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Julie Ann Daunte; father, Earl Cole; and mother, Gertrude Cole. On November 5, 1946, Rick was born in Toronto. He moved to London, Ontario as a young boy and grew up there until 1967 when he joined the RCMP. Rick enjoyed many years of coaching hockey and being involved in his kid's sports. Rick enjoyed reading, spending time with his family, cheering on the Bombers and the Jets and taking the family dog for walks. A Funeral Service will be held in Rick's honour on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in Charleswood United Church (where he and Nancy were married), 4820 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg, with Rev. Sincere condolences to Nancy and family from one of Rick's troop mates. When we graduated from Penhold, AB back in 1968 I had the pleasure of driving to Manitoba in Rick's "Comet". Both of us were posted to "D" Divison and of course crossed paths on many occasions as we transferred around the province. My wife Pat and I extend our thoughts and prayers.
