BEVERLEY EVELYN (BOAL) CARRICK Beverley Carrick passed away on September 21, 2016 in Calgary. Bev was born in Winnipeg on February 11, 1935. She was predeceased by her parents Reg and Evelyn Boal. Bev matriculated at Daniel McIntyre Collegiate in Winnipeg and began work at Great West Life where she stayed for almost 20 years. She was a proud member of Job's Daughters and a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where her father had served as President. This past Sunday Beverley and her loving husband Ron celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary. Shortly after the birth of their son, a career opportunity sent the couple out to Calgary where they have lived since 1975. She saw her most important role in life as wife, mother and grandmother. Bev is survived by her husband Ron; son Reg; daughter-in-law Shauna; grandsons, Carter, Liam, John; granddaughter Aislin; grandson John and her loyal pooch Patches. Her favorite thing to do was watching her son coach basketball and more recently watch her grandson play. In lieu of flowers the family is collecting donations to send to UCLA research for Fahr's disease, please contact rbrland@live.ca. A grave side memorial will take place at Elmwood Cemetery in Winnipeg on Monday September 26 at 2:00 p.m. A life celebration will occur at Rundle College in Calgary on Monday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m., 7375 17th Avenue, SW.
