Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (BETTY) TOEWS May 10, 1917 - September 20, 2016 As the sun rose on Tuesday, Mom slipped away at her home, for the last 10 and a half years, Park Manor. She was not alone as her family and her Park Manor family were at her side. Mom was predeceased by husband Emil, daughter Sandra, four sisters, one brother, all of Dad's siblings, and son-in-law Tom. Left with loving and special memories of Mom are son Gurney, his wife Sheila and family, and daughter Ingrid Hurford and family. Mom was the best of the best, a great wife, special mom, and a loving and generous grandmother and great-grandmother. She will never be away from us because of all the special moments. Our family would like to thank, with all our hearts, the special care and love Mom received from the staff at Park Manor since we entrusted you with her care years ago. You are very special people. To Ingrid, Gurney and Sheila Our sympathies to you and your families Your mother is now at rest. Over the years we used to go and visit your parents in their Transcona home.
